Duck Drop Tickets

Where can I get duck drop tickets?

Local Kiwanis members also have tickets for sale. Tickets will be available at Golf Tournament, and tickets will be available at the Fun Zone, as well, but only from 10AM - 11AM.

Golf Tournament

Can singles sign up?

YES! It's a four-person scramble, but if you don't have a team, please sign up anyway!
We will pair you with a group so you can play!

What if it rains?

We will make every effort to play, even if the weather is inclimate (unless there is lightening, of course)!
Show up for registration and lunch, even if it's raining ... the food will be great and we'll tee off as soon as the weather passes.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up online at

Family Fun Zone

What does it cost?

We have a Fun Zone sponsor. ALL KIDS ENTER FREE!
It's a great time for all! Food in the Fun Zone is purchased separately from the vendors.

What's at the Fun Zone?

The fun zone is a blast! We will have bounce houses and lots of games for kids. There will be martial arts and dance demonstrations, as well as food vendors. The fire department will have their dunking booth setup and Big Brothers Big Sisters will be hosting a booth as well. Come on out and enjoy a beautiful morning before the ducks fly!

Are Duck Tickets for Sale at the Fun Zone?

Yes! Duck tickets will be available from 10AM - 11AM at the Fun Zone. Ticket sales will close at 11AM SHARP. This is because we have to load the ducks purchased that morning on to the helicopter before it takes off to drop the ducks in the river.

The Duck Drop

What time do the ducks drop?

Ducks will be dropped by Lake Ozark Helicopter into the Osage River at noon on August 6.

Where is the best viewing area?

The best place to see the ducks drop is PAST the Lake Ozark Campground and RV park office.
You will NOT be able to see the ducks drop if you sit just below the dam in the rocky area next to the fun zone.
Please note, the drop area is not an exact science ... the weather, winds, and helicopter pilot will ultimately determine where the ducks are dropped from the helicopter. Safety is the first priority.
The pilot will do his best to drop the ducks in the river near the campground area.

I have feedback. Who should I contact?

We do appreciate feedback, as it helps us make the event better each year. You can contact the Ozark Coast Kiwanis Duck Drop Committee at Please remember that every person at the Fun Zone and on the water with the ducks is a VOLUNTEER. The event is a fund raiser and the proceeds help local children around the Lake of the Ozarks area.
Positive feedback and constructive criticism is welcome.

Please be kind to our ALL VOLUNTEER team. They do their best to make it a fun day for your children.
